In 2026, K Ocean’s Viann served as a judge at the International Youth STEAM Education Competition (IYSEC) programming competition.

The role offered a way to contribute to technology education alongside K Ocean’s commercial cybersecurity work. Programming competitions give young participants a setting to develop ideas, build working projects and explain their decisions. We value opportunities to support that learning and the people developing the next generation of technology.

A platform for young innovators

Wen Wei Po’s report, published on 31 July 2026, describes participation by more than 6,000 students from over 500 local schools in that year’s IYSEC competition. The event brings together students exploring programming, AI and other areas of technology. Wen Wei Po · IYSEA

For K Ocean, community participation is an opportunity to support curiosity, practical problem-solving and thoughtful technology use.
