K Ocean took part in “East Meets West: New Frontiers in Cybersecurity and Virtualization” on 1 June 2026, hosted by FUJIFILM BI Hong Kong at its Business Open Innovation Center (FBOIC). The event brought together cybersecurity practitioners and technology providers to discuss how organisations can strengthen resilience while navigating a mixed technology landscape.
K Ocean Technology appeared alongside Mandarin Tech at a shared event display. The event photograph captures conversations around the display, offering a view of the exchanges that accompanied the seminar programme.
Resilience across systems and operations
Across keynotes and panel discussions, the agenda considered both technical and non-technical factors in cyber resilience. Sessions covered continuous enterprise security, hidden attack surfaces, access risks, and exposure across networks and external channels. The programme also examined how Eastern and Western technology solutions can coexist, integrate or replace one another, with virtualization forming part of the wider discussion.
For organisations reviewing their security architecture, these themes raise practical questions: which systems and dependencies need protection, where monitoring should focus, and how change can be introduced with clear responsibilities. The seminar provided a setting to consider these questions alongside legal, operational and technology perspectives. K Ocean’s presence at the event forms part of its participation in Hong Kong’s cybersecurity community.
